I recently had a fresh door installed from Solidor, and it came with the Ultion plus 3 lock. After digging into some info about these locks, I was really impressed with their quality and security features. I'm happy that Solidor chooses to use these locks.

"Terrible Support from Emily and Sue"
The customer service from Emily and Sue was just the worst.

Our lock got jammed, leaving us unable to secure the door, which made the place feel unsafe. We called the emergency number on the key, and they promised someone would get back to us. But guess what? No one did.

When we reached out again, Emily from sales told us the service team was closed, so she couldn’t help. She gave us another number, but when my partner called it, they just got an automated message saying they were closed too. Emily then came back to me, saying they were busy, but when I confronted her, she insisted they were open. We asked her what we should do, and her answer was, 'I don’t know, I work in sales.' I mean, come on, even sales folks should have some idea about these things, right?

We were told to go back to the place where we bought the door, but they had already told us to reach out directly to them. Then Emily suggested we call a locksmith but couldn’t confirm if we’d get reimbursed for that. They offered to send an email to the service team to handle my issue when they opened the next day, but that didn’t help me at all since I needed the lock fixed ASAP. Emily kept putting me on mute, and her response was always, 'What do you want me to do?'

The service was just awful, and when I finally got to talk to Sue about my concerns, she hung up on me. Absolutely appalling.

My jammed lock issue remains unresolved. This company clearly doesn’t care, and there’s something seriously wrong with their emergency process and the training of their staff for handling straightforward problems like mine. They’re all about selling locks and taking your cash but have no clue how to deal with issues when they arise.

I really hope you don’t end up talking to Emily or Sue if you have a problem—they definitely need more training on how to handle customer inquiries.

"Ultion Nuki Smart Lock: Not Quite What I Expected"
I’ve got an Ultion Nuki smart lock on my front door. The idea behind it is really great, but in reality, there are some serious problems. First off, it took me three months to get it installed because I kept having to swap out parts.

Once it was finally up and running, everything seemed okay until I noticed that the app says my door is locked when it actually isn’t. To make the lock work, you have to lift the handle. If someone forgets to do that and the auto-lock is activated, there’s a red light on the lock, but the app still shows the door as locked.

When I reached out to customer support about this, they suggested I could put in a feature request, but they couldn’t give me any timeline on when it might be fixed. Honestly, I think this isn’t just a feature request; it’s a fix request because the app isn’t giving accurate info, and that means my home isn’t secure when it claims to be.
